Janine E. Shapiro

Janine E. Shapiro is the legal assistant and administrator for Las Vegas QDRO. Janine received her B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1985 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1996. Janine worked for a private accounting firm in Las Vegas from 1987 to 1990 and worked as a Financial Analyst with the City of Las Vegas from 1990 to 2001. As a Financial Analyst with the City, Janine was responsible for preparing complex financial analysis, preparation of financial statements and budgets for the City of Las Vegas, specifically the Redevelopment Agency which helped in the revitalization of downtown Las Vegas. Janine became a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst in 2017 and is the process of completing her certification to become a Certified QDRO Specialist.

Shann D. Winesett

Shann D. Winesett of the Pecos Law Group provides individual attention to the preparation of Qualified Domestic Relations order dividing Public Employee Retirement accounts, private pensions, 401(k)’s and other retirements interests.

Mr. Winesett is licensed in Nevada and California, primarily in family law. He attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, where he earned his juris doctor degree in 1993. Mr. Winesett successfully completed the American Bar Association’s Family Advocacy Institute in 1998. After graduating from law school, Mr. Winesett practiced law in Los Angeles with the national law firm, Robins Kaplan Miller & Ciresi, until returning to Las Vegas with his family in 1997.

Mr. Winesett is a Nevada Certified Family Law Specialist, has a perfect 10 rating on AVVO and currently sits on the Executive Counsel of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada.

Mr. Winesett personally reviews and approves every Qualified Domestic Relations Order prepared by Las Vegas QDRO. Mr. Winesett is conscientious and committed to providing efficient service to each client.
